Drawn to Life: volume one

This book is the first of two that basically take you through a masters class in Disney animation. I started reading through this book the other day as a reminder of the simpler things in character art. There is a lot of great insight and helpful tips to keep your sketching fresh and energized when doing storyboard and character poses. The main source of information is provided by Walt Stanchfield who was the key animator and story teller for Disney.

I just started working out some sketches based on their provided lessons. I will post them here as the sketches progress.
