Just a fun simple animation I made at lunch today with a new ipad animation app.

Halloween costume 2010 (for work)

This year a co-worker and i came up with the idea of dressing up like one of our best selling products from 2010, Robot Santa and Robot Snowman.

My costume was made of a plastic trash can, duct tape, aluminum foil tape, driveway reflectors, cardboard, hobby fabric and flexible dryer vent tubing.

Unfortunately I missed out on the company Halloween party because of Jury Duty, either way the costumes were a hit and Bill even won a costume contest at a local Bar.

Fearful Moments - sculpt

This is a new sculpture based off of some old sketches I scribbled back in 2005. I finally feel that the time is right to complete the idea. This is based off of a Precious Moments figure characterized as Jason from the  Friday the 13th series. I will post more progress as the weeks go on.

Another Magazine mini feature

I almost forgot about this one. this is from July/August 2010 MacFormat. They featured one of iPad illustrations and some of my friends iPad artwork in their recent issue.

This issue is currently on sale at newsstands across the US of A.

Muro on deviantArt

This week DeviantArt released Muro, which is a web based HTML5 digital illustration app that allows your to create from your browser.

The most exciting part of this is that you can now draw right from safari on your iPad. It is nothing really new or outstanding but it is pushing the capabilities of digital illustration and inspiring artist to create form with in an app on your computer or tablet. I have used just about every creative drawing app available on the iPad. Each app brings something new and different to the table. Some artist will find one easier to create than others but in the end its just digital sketching with what seems to be endless possibilities.
